At Bridge Academy West we aim to provide pupils with an accessible curriculum which helps build the bridges over potential knowledge gaps, increase their problem solving and reasoning skills and progress academically. We also intend to give pupils an understanding of the world and highlight the importance of mathematics in everyday life.
We provide the full Mathematics National Curriculum, whilst revisiting topics to secure pre-existing skills and acquire new ones. We provide a safe, creative and engaging environment for lessons that include practical learning with laptops, games and trips. Numeracy interventions are offered for those that are in need of extra support and to those that are excelling to help reach their full potential.
